Moorgate Management was asked to support a Construction Technology (ConTech) client in the creation of a dynamic Go To Market (GTM) strategy and execution, which also took into account the subsequent need to scale up to revenue generation.
The client’s co-founders had already raised angel investment, developed a proof of concept (POC) and raised the initial seed investment required from a regional venture capitalist (VC) fund. Now, they were looking for support on how to take their concept to market successfully.
Solution delivered
Working with the client, Moorgate Management developed a GTM plan that would take the product from discovery workshops to pilot launch and subsequent scale up. This timelined GTM plan with critical path covered a value matrix, user flow mappings, buying personas, addressable market and MVP requirements, setting out a path for the client to take the product to pilot stages, together with a marketing and sales plan for scale up.
Once the GTM plan had been agreed, Moorgate’s team mentored and supported the client in its execution, developing the MVP and pilot framework and culminating in the product’s pilot going live.
Then, a two-month project was initialised to establish the product’s market fit, and to create solid, scaleable foundations to support the scale up, including the subsequent product launch.
After the product was officially launched to the market, Moorgate also supported the scale-up to enable the product to become revenue generating, together with securing a second round of seed investment from the regional VC fund.
Results achieved
The result was a successful product launch that created a scaleable, revenue-generating business, with a clear runway to positive net cash generation from the business.
